Well, not really. At least one DHP needs to be given after the immune system is fully mature and then the evidence suggests that they are covered for life. This shot would need to be given after the pup shots (like a one year booster). Not everyone agrees with this though and not all vets would be willing to follow this protocol. Things like bordatella need to be given 1-2 times a year to be effective if you have to give them at all.

One thing is for sure...yearly DHP is not necessary and not a very good idea. The most I'd personally do them is every three years or when a titer comes back low back you really should talk to your vet about it and see if you can come to an agreement.
