Hi Roxies Mom, you would be surprised the experience you can put on a resume from being a stay at home Mom. You have experience with EVERYTHING from risk management to time management (honest).
One thing I would suggest is explore what makes you happy and make it your job. Example, one of my friends is a School Teacher and during the summer and holidays she works at Starbucks because she loves coffee and reading (this Starbucks is in a Barnes and Noble). My friend is always telling people that likes teaching but LOVES her Starbucks job.
I always tell people that my retirement job is going to be at Ikea. I love going to Ikea and just looking at all the "stuff". What better job to have if you need to work.
Also I would Google Torie Johnson, she is a career advisor for women and has a weekly news segment on Good Morning America. Personally I think she offers very good, sound advice.
