 update on the baby
OK so she ia 4 and a half months old. First we researched her condition a little more and we gave her some nutri stat and some different types of sugar. When i talk to the breeder he said to try vanilla ice cream because at this point she wasnt drinking anything either so we had to hydrate and watch the sugar level. About 20 mins later Jade(puppy) was running around but her equilibrium still looked lke it was off. We called the 24 hour vet hospital and they said to let her nap but only with a close watch. So we keep checking on her every 10-15 mins making sure her response were ok. After about 4 hours we left her rest up through the night, and now our baby seems to be doing great. Things got a little scary last night and i just wanted to thank everyone. The breeder also said that up until she is 6 months old she can have diz spells that typically last 4-7 days. When that happens we are supposed to give her some sugar and some r and r. Anyhow we are giving her some vitamins daily for a while and then we will go from there.....Thanks |
