I had one put in not too long after my daughter was born..the first weekend was pure HELL cramps, bleeding, and vomiting after about 2 weeks though all of my symptoms subsided and all was well for 3 years...I only had to go in once to have the string clipped b/c it had moved but I could always tell when it was moving because my lower back would hurt. I also hardly ever had a period which was fabulous!!! I am actually going on May 11 to have it put back in since we have found out we can no longer have children and every time I get pregnant I will have a miscarriage and my insurance will not pay for me to have a hysterectomy yet.
