I think it would probably be fine as long as they answered any and all questions you may have about the procedure! I really only feel comfortable using the vet I'm used to for anything surgical, but that's just me and I'm way overly paranoid!
I know the ASPCA does many spays and spays on young puppies that are small also so I'd assume they'd be good at it.
I think the thing that puts me more at ease than even who does the actual procedure, is to pay for all the EKG and pre blood work. It really makes me feel better to know that there are no underlying issues before they're put under for surgery. Do they offer that at the ASPCA? |
