  Scam-a-lama-ding-dong. The first tip-off is that the person doesn't seem to speak proper English. Not that that would necessarily mean anything but it makes me believe it is a scammer just trying to get email addresses or money somehow. 
 I had something similar. I found an ad in the paper for a Yorkie. I emailed and she said she no longer lived her (WI) and was now in CA but would ship the dog to me. That just seemed really weird. If she's in CA, why not advertise there??? She had really broken English in her email too.
