I know if can be so scary when it seems like one misstep, and you could lose them. I took Thor's leash off to put him in the car the other day, and he decided it would be a good time to run off and sniff a tree. I was kind of laughing until he decided that it would be more fun to run into the street. And I saw a bus coming!! I was so scared, I screamed NO at Thor, and scared the heck out of him so he froze before he stepped out into traffic. I seriously think my heart stopped for a miunute. |
I know what you mean. After everything settled down, and we could breathe, it was laughable but when it is in the moment, phew! You had to have been really scared when you saw that bus, I don't know what I would have done if it were me. I would have been like you and my heart would have been in my throat, I know it! I am glad Thor heard you scream. Wow.
