Oh goodness...Im going through this with my Zoey as we speak! She started her first heat on March 27th. I hadnt noticed any signs that she was about to so when it came i got all emotional. haha. Its still going on and i feel like its never going to end! I went out and bought her some puppy diapers from Pet Co. but i gave up on them. They were such a hassle because id have to take it off of her when i let her out to go potty, then had to try an put another one back on her and she didnt like it at all! She would just sit in the middle of the room. i guess she felt like she couldnt walk. Zoey sleeps with me every night and i gave up on trying to save my comforter. Sad to say, but there are stains every where. Im going to get her fixed in probably 3-4 months.
Also, her genitals and nipples are swollen...will they go back to normal when shes out of heat? |
