I live about two hours from Jeff Dane. We purchased two puppies from him. They are beautiful, healthy, happy, and were reasonably priced. Full grown weight almost as guessed at 6 (Bronx) and 8 (Zowie) pounds. I found his home to be lovely as were his wife and children, all of whom help with the pups. His daughter, about 16, raises the maltese. He owns two other breeding facilities as well as his own. He has lovely kennels with indoor and outdoor areas. My pups (not brother and sister) had a litter in May, also healthy beautiful babies. I was told Bronx father was 2.5 pounds, the mothers are generally around 7. One of my pups is 3# at almost 5 months. The others are 4, 6 and 7. I don't believe them to be full grown, but they are great puppies, they are not nervous, sickly, scrawny. I don't want to upset everyone, but I do tire of the Jeff-bashing. |
