Unfortunately, I don't think people will ever change. All you can do is ignore them and not let them know it bothers us. Let them have their furniture-chewing shedders who leave poops the size of basketballs all over the yard and need hours of exercise every day or they pick up bad habits and get fat.

I've never cared what people say. Eddie usually shuts them up because he's smarter and better mannered than their dogs. But I was just as proud of my yapper, Jack, because he didn't care what they said either. He was too busy being happy.
