 Suggestions for getting puppy to take to new food?
Bailey has been on the Eukanuba the breeder fed since I got her. I want to switch her to one of the premium foods. I used the sticky above to request some samples. She liked the chicken soup (fed a few pieces as treats), but it's not so easy to find. Plus she choked on a piece of it. I really want to get her on the Wellness. It sounds like a great food and is easy to buy at Petco. I know to transition her slowly, but she doesn't really show any interest in the Wellness. When I wet a piece she will eventually eat it, but I am just afraid if I start mixing a little in with her food she will pick out the Eukanuba and ignore the Wellness.
Any suggestions?
Also, anyone have a good formula for transitioning? |
