Some are a mix, but some pure yorkies turn out that way too. It's just an uncommon coloring. I saw a pure bred yorkie the other day that was completely tan, no black at all. I don't think Thor looks that light. I've seen MUCH lighter. I've seen some whose blue really did look almost white. He's a cutie anyway
To the OP - yorkies can vary from a very light blue (silver) to a deep steel blue to even black.
