Alright...
I'm 15 and a fairly inexperienced Yorkie owner.
I currently have two, though the one I am concerned about goes by the name of Joey.
Joey is going to get an oral surgery, soon. Unfortunately, they will have to put him under for such.

I normally wouldn't ask any questions... But less than three months ago, my other Yorkie, Chuchi was put under for a teeth cleaning, which at that point I didn't realise that Yorkie's used tooth brushes, too...
Well, the nurse overdoes him, and my baby died.
And after that point, the vet blamed our family and said that Yorkie's aren't supposed to be put under in the first place.

Funny thing was, I had a bad feeling and flatly told them not to kill my dog pre-anasthesia. They laughed at me.
And then they told me it was my own damn fault. [VHA Rosehill Animal Hospital: Killer of two of my previous dogs, both Yorkies and from the same doctor.] I have recently Acquired a new Yorkie, as well as a new vet.

So, Finally... My Question.
What types of Anasthesia are safe for our little Darlings?
Joey is about Three pounds, I believe... And I don't want another dog dying on me.
