That has been my experience too! We took one puppy home that we worried might be too laid back and timid, but she had picked my son. By the second day we wondered where that timid little one was. We always laugh and ask, if this feisty one was the most laid back, what is happening at the other people's houses?? LOL! You have plenty of time to contribute to the personality of your new puppy and like Woogie Man said, they may be a lot different away from their littermates. So, it is hard to say what traits to look for. Most of the time you just know!
