I was always told by vets that they are not to be spayed until at least 2lbs. It is too dangerous ... Forgive me if I am mistaken, other YT members might have better insight then I do, however, this is how I have been under the impression. Yorkies are already tiny and prone to being put under /having reactions. they need pre blood work done too. If it were my puppy I would certainly wait.
