Your breeder is correct that the stress of the new environment can definitely make giardia worse. I also would like to know what meds the vet has her on? I have found Metronidazole (in a liquid form) worked best for us. Make sure you are thoroughly disinfecting everything she comes in contact with on a regular basis with a bleach solution. You also need to be regularly cleaning her bum with baby wipes and washing your hands.
