I get that. I was responding to another comment:
Bringing them into the AKC is a perfect way to expose them to the pedigreed world and thus gain support. I don't see how that is the case when they are insisting the dogs be s/n. (Which I agree with!
) I guess "registered" was a poor choice of word..."given an id number and allowed to compete in events" just seemed like a mouthful.
