I remained shocked at how much media coverage this dog has gotten!
How is the decision he made any different from the decision any of us make when we decide on a dog? Because of the position he holds, I imagine that whatever decision he'd made, he'd be raked over the coals for it one way or another, but geez... I don't understand why people would feel "let down" by this whole ordeal. Because he mentioned that they would get a rescue or shelter dog, then changed their mind because they found something else they wanted instead? So what? I just don't get it....
