 A new puppy
Right now I am trying to find a responsible breeder for shih tzus. After my Norfolk and my Shih Tzu passed away within 4 days of each other last May, it felt as if my heart had been ripped out of my chest. They all pretty much got along great and then boom, 2/3 of my family gone at once! I don't think I would have gotten through it except for my Yorkie, Jasper (who is the roost ruler and always was). When my daughter brings her shih tzu over, he is happy to see him and they have fun together, so I want very much to get another shih tzu, but Ohio has a lot of bad breeders, puppy mills, pet stores, etc. I am expanding my search to include West Va. Pennsylvania and Michigan in hopes of finding a responsible breeder. Consumes a lot of time. None of the responsible breeders in Ohio seem to have any puppies available in June and/or have very long waiting lists. Gonna keep trying though. Garcy |
