If you're interested in a raw diet but don't want the mess, have you looked into Ziwi Peak or Honest Kitchen? Honest kitchen is a freeze dried raw, and Ziwi Peak is a dehydrated raw. Honest kitchen has to be rehydrated with warm water, but Ziwi peak is fed as a small dried jerky type food. So you get all the benefits of raw without the mess and the same convenience of feeding kibble
Ziwi peak also makes canned foods so you could do a little of both.
