Well for the most part it seems as though keeping it in the fridge in an air tight container should be ok then, which is what I already do. I just use a regular spoon (not exactly sure if it's a tsp, it's likely more but just as an estimate) and put just enough in there to coat the dry kibble. I'm buying the 6oz cans right now, but I rotate her food and I happened to notice that not all brands offer 6oz cans or if they do, a store I can get those foods at don't always sell the smaller cans, so that's why I was just wondering. Thank you all!
