This breeder sounds like a typical backyard breeder. BYB's have no idea what is in the background of the dogs they breed so all kinds of "surprises" pop up.
What are you going to do if it comes back that she isn't pure Yorkie? Unfortunately, the law considers pets property so the doctrine of unlawful gain applies in cases like this. Keeping the puppy and getting your money back probably won't be an option. You've obviously bonded with her so I doubt you'd return her.
I am so glad you decided not to breed. We don't need anymore so-called Yorkies being produced by dogs with unknown backgrounds. That's why today's Yorkies are so far off the standard and have so many health problems.
