I guess it's been some time since Thor has worn the shoes, because he was doing the bootie high step. You know what I'm talking about. He generally walks a lot slower while he's wearing them, but he seemed comfortable enough - ears perked, tail up.

Anyway, as we are walking across the street, a woman yells from her car, "Take those boots of that dog, you stupid... woman!" Normally I would shrug this off, but as I walked Thor around, jaws were dropping. EVERYONE was staring. A number of people stopped to say how cute he was, but a number of people looked pretty horrified. It was quite embarrassing.

I didn't think Thor looked THAT bizarre. His raincoat is very practical, with reflective lights. I will grant that both the coat and the shoes are bright orange, and he was shuffling a little bit, it's not like he was in chainmail and buttless chaps, which is more than I can say for some of the humans walking around this city.

I guess that's the other thing. This is San Francisco. We have homeless people who dress up like trees. Men go out wearing nothing but a pink tutu. Is a dog in a raincoat and shoes so strange? I thought he looked cute!
Sounds like she had a little pent up anger! Maybe her new batteries.
