 Skeeter missed his sisters!
DH took Adie and Cassie to the beauty parlor yesterday. We have to drive for an hour to get there (that's how good our groomer is). The groomer was backed up so dh left them there and went home. When he got there Skeeter was beside himself. He whined and cried and wouldn't leave dh alone for a second. When he sat down Skeeter got in his lap, grabbed his thumb and snuggled in. Now a lot of you may recall that Skeeter loves to fall asleep with my finger in his mouth but he has never done it with dh! Of course this tickled the snot out of dh and he called me at work to tell me that I may have lost my baby. When it was time to go get the girls Skeeter went too! LOL.
Just a side note about our groomer....Cassie (our shih tzu) is a puppymill rescue and is terrified of strangers. She avoids other people at all cost. She even shys away from people she knows. But when we take her to Lisa, she acts like she does when mommy comes home from work. her tail is wagging so fast her butt sways from side-to-side. Lisa gets lots of kisses. THAT is why we drive for an hour to get our dogs groomed. |
