Default Bile Acid Test on Thursday

I am taking Mia to a new vet on Thursday to specifically have a bile acid test ran. She still circles especially when she gets excited and seems to be confused on what way she needs to go. We have had 3 previous vets say no to liver shunt because in October she had an excellent blood panal result when this all started.

I hope that my fears are wrong and the other 3 vets are right. I am having this done to ease my fears and make sure that this is not her problem. I am also going to have them check her eye sight, sometimes I think that she has trouble seeing up close. The white part of her eye is quite red at times and she has a vein visable in the top part of her eye in the white area. When you give her a treat she has trouble aiming for it and is sometimes a little snappy like she might not get it. You have to watch your fingers. She is not aggressive at all any other time. I have switched her to the Natural Balance Vegtable mixed with the Potato and Duck to lower the protein in her food.

She has improved a lot since this started in October. We have gone to a holistic vet and done some therapy medication. She is trying to get Mia's body to heal itself with extra stem cell production with Stemplex. This has improved her over all but has not solved the circle issue. Mia sometimes will circle until you go over and pick her up to stop her. No one that we have seen seems to have any idea on what is really going on with her.

So remember her on Thursday and I guess I need to know what is the normal pre and post numbers for the bile acid test. I am not going to be satisfied that this isn't her problem until we have this done. Also if you have any other ideas or suggestions I would love to hear them.

Thanks to all
