Ok so my little one got his last set of shots this past weekend so we started taking him outside for potty times since then. He immediately starting peeing outside, no problems..yes we still have the occasional accident but overall hes been doing great! We praise him verbally and he loves going outside! He even goes to the door to go out sometimes (a work in progress).

Our issue is that he has yet to poop outside! He will go on a nice walk, go pee, try to eat the leaves, grass,lay down, etc...but then come in and poop on the carpet or the pee pad (Ive wised up after the first few times so started putting him in the gated kitchen with his pee pad right when we come inside)....

The pee pad is better than the carpet---but How do I transition him to outside for both pee and poo? We were hoping to eliminate pee pads all together, would it maybe be smarter to have them as a back up in the kitchen afterall??? Please advise what you would do!
