Well, sice I saw this thread I thought I would share my scary story.
My neighbor and I are always outside letting our puppies play in the front yard. We have seen many hawks, sometimes there are 8-10, flying around, but always stay very close to our puppies and watching the sky. They usually dont come down close, but thought if they were tempted enought they would. Both of our husbands thought the hawk would never come to close while "people" are out there. We argued that..lol
We had given them treats and Bella being so picky, she of course didnt eat hers. It was in the yard about 10 feet from where we were standing. As always we are constantly looking above our heads to see if the hawks are checking us out, and there was. We grabbed our babies up....He got closer and closer and was diving down right us. I was so feraked out I turned my back and tucked Bella in my chest and put my head down and and did the whole...."WTH" thing. When I looked back, it was leaving with the treat that was in the yard

I thought he was going to try and take my baby out of my arms...
So not only did we prove the husbands wrong

, but now we are terrified to let our babies play outside.....
They are very sneaky, and you have to watch for them constantly
