I think you will probably get comments about leaving your dog for 8 hours, but some of us have to work, and sometimes there is no other option.

I am out of the house 3 days per week, and my aunt used to take Millie to her house, and I picked her up after work. Before she did that, my mum called in and spent lunchtime with Millie.

Have you any options like that that would break the day up a bit?

Or perhaps another dog?

I feel guilty about doing it too, and if I was out of the house five days a week, I dont think I would have a dog.

People suggest putting tvs or radios on when you are away.
