I was also told yesterday that my girl will be having only one. We went in for ultrasound and she is 35 days along. The vet wants to do x-ray and go from there. Did your vet mention anything about possible c-section? That is always a possibility. The only advice I can give is to be prepared, and have your vet on call. The vet advised me to not leave her side when she gets close to her due date. Good Luck and keep us posted!
