My neighbor called this afternoon and said to get Scooter inside because there has been a very large hawk hanging around. Scooter was already inside and when I looked outside I saw the hawk sitting on the fence watching the house. He is very big.
Now I'm afraid to let Scoot out anymore and I don't know how this is going to work because he and Bitsy spend several hours a day just running around and having a good time out in the yard. I've read of hawks, eagles and owls taking small dogs and I would die if anything happened to him. Darn stupid hawk is making our lives very difficult. Has anyone had experience with large birds of prey? Scooter and Bitsy spent hours just staring out the sliding door to the yard. I wonder if I keep him in for a few days or if I go outside with him maybe the hawk will move on to another area. Hate that hawk.
