i just want to chime in with the no raw hide thing.
DONT LET ANYONE TELL YOU THEY ARE SAFE
my friend brought over a little stick of rawhide months ago and brow beat me until i gave in and gave it to the dog. 2 days later she was choking on it (i pulled it out).
If someone gives you a gift of rawhide, say thanks and throw it out =)
