I didn't think about Maggie biting her tounge or lip. She's sound asleep in the bed which I have on my desk for them just snoring away! lol. She's is my little snorer. lol!
You know, our surgeon was pretty laid-back about everything. He said keep him from doing crazy stuff for two months, but sounded like he could start going on walks and stuff 4-6 weeks into recovery. On a leash of course and not for super long walks. They will be calling to check up on us in a month and and I will go over it in more detail then. He will also be rechecked and xrayed by my vet 8 weeks post-op. As for now, he really stressed no jumping, which is why he has to stay on a leash because he springs up on the couch and back off in the blink of an eye!!
