Since I started Yorkie Talk I have become more alarmed as to what I am seeing and reading with the Biewer Terrier. I believe a lot of members are becoming confused with the difference in a tri-colored yorkie, and a Biewer. I am becoming increasingly alarmed when I see breeders here who say they are breeding tri-colored yorkies and when I see their sire or dam I question its breed. A tri-colored yorkie has no standard, a biewer does and when you see a Biewer, you know it is a Biewer!
The dispute with the standards amongst the clubs is just basically that, a dispute. However, I bet they know they own Biewers and not a tri-colored Yorkie. |
