Wow...I have to say that your being so upset over the scenario kinds of shocks me.

I guess I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and would have assumed that if she said she "needed" it, then maybe she really DID need it...it's possible that her "needs" just weren't visible to you. Ya just never know.
I know my grandmother's buggy doubles as a walker when she goes to the store, even if, as you say, she has very few items. I certainly hope she hadn't inadvertantly upset someone over doing that.
