My Rowdy does the same thing!
When I put clothes on him, he looks like he is catatonic or has rigormortis!!! He's absolutely stiff. However, I put a sweater on him the other day and the dog next door went into a barking frenzy and Rowdy raced outside in his sweater - I guess he forgot he was in a straight jacket!!!
