You can also try giving your baby yogurt or cottage cheese (Max loves this mixed with his kibble - afternoon snack).
What kind of food is your baby currently eating? Does Taffy seem to like it? What kinds of things does she like/dislike? |
Of all things, she seems to like "healthy"...LOL That's the only reason I thought of eggs. I've had the hardest time finding a treat she would even try. However, she loves bully sticks....looks like Groucho Marx with a cigar as she struts around with the bully stick hanging out the corner of her mouth. She has finally decided that yogurt drops and cheesy cracker dog bites are not some alien matter.
I haven't been able to get her to eat kibble at all. Her breeder sent two kinds...she'll have neither. I've tried some of those that are listed as premium brands but no go UNLESS she eats the kibble I sorta stirred in the eggs. (By the way, it's too early here for me to be awake and "someone" should have reminded me to cover the cup with the egg in it. I have exploded egg all over the inside of the microwave...LOL) I am not looking at her (seems to bother her Southern lady-ness...she seems to have the Scarlett O'Hara attitude of not appearing to eat evah...LOL).
Oh well, she at least appeared to sniff the eggs. I stirred in a bit of cheese since she does like it but I guess I ruined it by trying to sneak in a few bits of kibble. Grrr...can you imagine any creature in my house not liking to eat??? Never would I have guessed I'd ever face a problem like this.
Sometimes if I leave things out, she will go back on her own and take a nibble...not sure about the egg though. Gosh andit was so pretty. I could have won a Suzy Homemaker prize on its presentation...LOL
She's been living on real chicken. She goes back to the vet on Friday (wellness check was last week) and I know he's going to ask me if I've gotten her to eat kibble yet. I've ordered another brand so keep your fingers crossed!
