We are planning a family vaca in July to go to Beaver's Bend in OK and stay in a cabin there. The girls are both due for vaccines and I have not gotten them microchipped and am taking them in Wed for both, is there anything else I should talk to the vet about taking them on a trip. It's not that far, only like a 5 hour drive, but I am very nervous about it. I just want them to be safe and to have fun too! Should I get them lifejackets since we will be near a river and fishing ponds?
