If my mom yells at Roxie she hides behind me or runs and climbs in her crate (which she will never ever get in otherwise.) If I yell at Roxie she barks right back, sometimes climbing stuff (like the couch) until she's on my level. She thinks she's in charge.
Fortunately she DOES know right from wrong. She'll come to me crying if she had an accident in the house. Sometimes she does bad things just to get attention... Like she'll come up to me holding a playing card or something, but she does it ever so delicately with a tiny bit of the corner in her mouth.
I guess she can tell that I'm never REALLY mad at her. Even when she's in trouble, she's adorrable. |
