My hubby wears earrings (one in each ear) he's a very rugged demo-man.
I dunno, it's just all about expressing yourself I guess. To each his own. I think this day and age anything goes, ESPECIALLY male Yorkies with topknots...which is sooooo cute!
But even back in the day with my little Maltese that I had 20 yrs ago, his hair was always tied back with a barrette. I don't think it has to do with the sex of the dog so much as the breed. Certain breeds must tie their hair back if it is kept long.
