I bought the grey kitty one at Petsmart on clearance. I thought it would be nice for the puppies since they lost their momma. They still love it at 6 weeks. They climb all over it, sometimes sleep on it. I don't even have the heart and warmer inside it right now. The heating pads are like the hand warmers that you shake to activate only a lot bigger. They stay warm for up to 20 hours. When I used up the ones that came with it, I used 2 or 3 of the handwarmers in their place. It also comes with a nice little drawstring bag to fill with rice, that can be heated in the microwave. That stays warm for a couple of hours. The heart is battery operated and prvides a realistic heartbeat. Oh -- it is also washable (without the heat and beat accessories). A very nice puppy snuggle & security gift!
