I feel for you so badly, my poor celice did not have a chance! She is gone now and I sued them and won! I watched a national geoghic show on how dogs are hard wired to do what they were bred to do pitbull's or even mixes hard hard wired in thier genes to fight and they showed a pitbull fighting! pitbull's are not akc reg because of this, we put up surviellance camra;s also if you can find out who the home owners insurance carrier is for the person who owns the pitbull/mix report it to them and they will have to take measures to restran the and or they will canel the insurance or make them get rid of the dog! also call animal control and report the dog as a viscious dog and many states have an ordiance in place for this, good luck with this, I would take your baby out on a leash to be safe, as I have found even a fence won't stop a dog attack, however we are putting up a 8 foot high fence as well with boob wire around it to insure no more of my babies will be killed, blessings I hope I helped you out some, my heart goes out to you as I know your loss!!
