Also I am feeding Eukanuba and I think that could be part of the problem. That might also be the reason Bailey is often stractching (?). I want to switch her to a premium food. I'm waiting for Wellness samples. But I don't want to waste the rest of the Eukanuba bag.
You need just pineapple in its own juice. You cannot expect it to be a miracle overnight fix. Continue to feed for several WEEKS several times a day. Not to be rude but you have a tiny pup how much could that bag of opened Eukanuba possibly have cost? If you are planning on changing food anyway to something a little more high quality you should also start by mixing it with the old food anyway. You can also use a little packed pumpkin in the food during the food transition. It will help settle any upset tummies from the transition and if also good for poor eaters. Just mix maybe a tsp with a little warm water to coat Bailey's food. Feed a chunk of pineapple several times a day spaced through out the day. I would give it at least 2 or 3 weeks before you can expect to see a change. Don't give up hope. It seems like whenever the poop eating thread comes back to life it is usually because they have not given enough time to let it take effect. Good luck with Bailey.

*I just reread where you said that Bailey is scratching. It is probably an allergy and I would recommend changing to something that like Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Venison which is a limited ingrediant food. That is what mine eat. Do not wait to make the change, poor little pupster is itchy
