Yorkies hair is much like humans. If you bleached your hair, then as the roots get your natural color, the bleached part continues to be on the ends. The ends stay blond until you cut it off. Same at a yorkie. The tips will stay black as the hair grows out and becomes gray/silver. But the texture may be different on the two because one is puppy hair and the other will be more like the adult texture.
