Good advice. Course it could be she is hearing something. Does she make crying noises when she is wanting to chase a squirrel or something outside? Could you have a mouse or a limb gently hitting an upstairs window? You would think mine are in serious trouble when they see a squirrel from the window or hear an unusual sound from another room. Just thinking of some alternative ..... but I would definately take the advice of a check-up to rule out any injury or condition causing internal pain.
