I am so very sorry for your loss.
I too lost my little Kayla last July. She was 3 months short of 14. I also cried my eyes out and miss her terribly. Whose to say, this length or that length of time is right to wait.
We do all handle the loss of our furbabies differently. For me each time I lost one, I had to wait months before I entertained the idea of getting another. That's just me. I knew that I would get another, it just takes me a while to get to that point. There is nothing wrong with wanting another baby as you do. Bless you for wanting to give another baby a loving home.
