Will he calm down? Before we decided to get a puppy I was a little scared because it had been so long since my dogs were puppies and I know that puppies are hard work; however, Tobie has been pretty easy. He's a fast learner, he only whines whenever I leave the house and he rarely ever mouths me and my husband anymore. The biggest problem I am having with him is that my older dogs have a hard time handling him. When he wants to play he will come up behind them and bite the back of their legs or jump up and bite their ears. Do you think this is just a puppy thing and he will grow out of it? He has done good with saying, "no bite!" when he mouths my husband and I, so I have been saying it when he bites the other dogs. Usually when I say it he will go to their faces and "look" like he is giving them kisses but I can tell he is sneaking in little bites! If it's just a puppy thing then when do they usually start to calm down a bit?
