My tucker gets a bath every thursday in the bathroom sink. I use VO5 nourishing oasis shampoo with aloe and jasmine on him, and therma silk heat protectant conditioner(to make sure his coat hairs don'tdry out when i blow dry him). These work very we'll for detangling knots(he has a mixture of a cotton coat and silky coat,and he's only 4 months and transitioning into his adult coat). I always dilute them a little bit with water. I turn the heat up in the house to keep him warm, and let the thermasilk conditioner sit on him from 2-4 minutes, then I use a small tooth comb and blow dry him. I take better care of his hair then my own LOOOOL.
