Odie was crate trained when he was really young, but once he was older and we knew that he wasn't getting into anything and going to sleep at night we leave him out in the living room on his pillow. He is quite content to be out here. He has never slept in our bed, we have a high profile bed and he would break his neck trying to jump down, so that is why he is out in the living room. It is good for all of us DH, Odie and myself.
