If his new haircolor is growing in at the roots, and you shave him, then he'll look like a whole new dog afterwards. Some people here have gotten their pups shaved and they are black in the before pics, and silvery in the after pics. Sorry if I explained that weirdly.. it's like if a brunette dyes her hair blonde, lets it grow out a few inches, and then chops most of her hair off. She'll be a brunette again.

Do you use conditioner on his hair? Roxie's hair felt a little dry and dull, so I use conditioner now and the difference is amazing.

The texture of a puppy's hair can change as it matures, so it might grow in shinier/healthier/thicker, etc
