If she has baby teeth.....she isn't as old as your vet stated. Is it her head color that's changing? From black to silver? That would indicate a younger dog too. I think it may be time to switch vets.

It's likely she is going into heat....and both of your animals are old enough to reproduce. You need to keep them totally seperated.
